The NEW Member's Sale Horses online database is now set up for direct payment online through PayPal. No need to have a PayPal account, just follow the links as you are prompted through the site and you will be able to pay immediately. Member's wishing to list their Registered or Entered CWHBA horses may now enter the information themselves and upload up to 4 images!
To get your login password, contact the National Office. In order to access the Member's Area you must be a current year (2009) member and the horse you wish to list must be either Registered or Entered with the CWHBA. Pending will be accepted in the field for registration/entry number provided the paperwork has been received by National Office and for current year foals.

While not a CWHBA run event, this Annual Sale was pioneered by and continues to be run by CWHBA breeders and members with many of the horses consigned carrying CWHBA registration papers. This 6th annual sale will be held at Westerner Park in Red Deer, central Alberta’s largest convention, trade show, agriculture, entertainment & sports facility.

URIKA, owned by Mr. and Mrs. M. Grant Maxie, ridden and trained by Kevin Maxie, moved into the 1.45m Talent Squad and Rising Star classes achieving top placings in Ontario & Quebec in 2008. She finished her season placing 2nd and 6th in the two classes of the National Talent Squad championships at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto. Previous to these accomplishments, Urika showed in the Young Jumper Championship classes in the USA as a 6 & 7 year old, garnering top placings at WEF in Wellington, FL, and at major east coast horse shows. KING LEAR (registered as LEAR), owned and ridden by Alex Gagnon of Chilliwack, B.C., was awarded both the Level 1 and Level 2 Jumper Achievement Awards at the National AGM in Ontario as well as the Year End Jumper Level 2 award. Alex and her father Denis, travelled to Ontario to receive these awards in person and were very proud of the accomplishments of Lear throughout the previous show seasons - provincial BCHJA Champion (www.bchja.com) in 2008 at the 1.10 meter level; winner of the CWD Sellier Series and awarded a custom made saddle from France, and also Gold, Silver and Bronze  medalist at the BC Summer Games. They are now preparing for 1.20-1.40 meter Grand prix Level in 2009. LEAR was bred by Mrs. Patricia Ripenburg of Cantebury Stables of Delta, B.C.

Kobi W, shown here at the Thunderbird Show Park in Langley, B.C. ridden by Dale Thornton, was the 2008 FEI 5 Year Old winner for the Canadian Performance Futurity Pacific Zone Dressage. Kobi W was bred by Sigma Warmbloods of Vilna, AB and is owned by Mirrabook Farms of BC. This 16.2 hand gelding was also 2nd in the warm-up class with 72%, narrowly beaten by the ultimate 4 Year Old FEI winner, MJ Beckham owned by Barb Bishop of BC and bred by MJ Farm of AB.
