Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association - New Technologies

New Technologies Adopted By CWHBA

The CWHBA is announcing the launch of new services designed to streamline registration processes and to improve communication and response times. Our contract for administrative services with Standardbred Canada comes to an end September 1st.

Streamlined Registration process. Beginning immediately registration applications will go directly for processing to our database provider, the Canadian Livestock Records Corporation. Updated forms are available here.

Please mail all registration and mare entry applications to:
CWHBA, Canadian Livestock Records Corporation
2417 Holly Lane, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada K1V 0M7

All other correspondence should be sent to:
CWHBA
RR 2 Site 212 Comp 1
Prince Albert SK S6V 5P9

This is a first step toward a new online registration system which will be implemented in the coming weeks.

Cloud Based Member support system. The second major initiative is the adoption of a cloud based member support system. Using cloud based technology we will be able to respond quickly and effectively to questions and issues that arise from our members or from the public. To ask a question or login to this system click here and go to a new support ticket.

By embracing these technologies we anticipate faster turn around times on registrations and mare entries as well as better communication with our members. All this is now possible because of the work that the CLRC and our volunteers have done over the past few years to over come challenges presented by our extensive pedigree traceback system. Tracebacks are now a permanent part of our system making our pedigree database one of the most researched and accurate in the world.

The CWHBA wants to thank Standardbred Canada and in particular staff members Linda Bedard, Robin McClure, and Rosenna So for their dedicated and friendly service. They have helped us to achieve a new level of professionalism, during the period of adjusting our registration protocol to comply with our 2011 Articles of Incorporation. This has been a drawn out process, but we are now excited and confident that, as these technologies take hold, our streamlined registration procedures and the introduction of online registrations will become a significant benefit to our members.
