CWHBA - the APA and bilateral AAFC Discussions

January 12, 2009: CWHBA mails out to the 2008 & 2009 membership new 'Articles of Incorporation' and 'motions to amend the By-laws' to be voted on by the membership. Their vote is to be returned by February 12, 2009. Only votes from current 2009 members may be counted.
These documents were developed in consultation with senior officials from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) and conform to the APA. Full details can be found in the Member's Area of this web site which requires member login - please contact the office for that information.

October 24, 2008: CWHBA going forward with bi-lateral APA discussions! CWHBA representatives met with senior officials from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada at British House on the grounds of Spruce Meadows, AB. April 11, 2008: Three years after the ‘Sport Horse Canada’ concept received unanimous support, multi-lateral talks with the Federal government and breeders of sport horses have been wound up. February 6, 2008: The second face to face meeting hosted by Assistant Deputy Minister, Krista Mountjoy took place at the Port O’Call Hotel in Calgary.
