Ontario is the most populous and second-largest in area of Canada's ten provinces. It is found in east-central Canada with its capital in Toronto. The capital of Canada, Ottawa, is also located in Ontario and is home to the Canadian Livestock Records Corp. that manages the registrations of CWHBA. Ontario is bounded on the north by Hudson Bay and James Bay, east by Quebec, west by Manitoba, and south by the U.S. states of Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York. Ontario's long American border is formed almost entirely by lakes and rivers, including four of the Great Lakes namely Lakes Superior, Huron, Erie, and Ontario. As would be expected, Ontario has a thriving warmblood breeding community utilizing international bloodlines. Competition in Ontario features a wide selection of show venues with top level competition available. One of these is the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, a world class venue showcasing top competition in performance and breeding divisions.
